Message | Mr. Speaker, while we can see some of the reasoning behind the corporate tax increase, why has this been bundled with an increase on the Kingdom tax on nonessential goods? The Union fears the increase from 18% to one fifth the value crosses a certain psychological barrier that would discourage consumer spending across the board. |
