| Message | Mr Speaker, in response to the honourable gentleman from the URR, this is designed to allow energy companies to properly compete with each other to make the best energy provision at the best possible price. It will allow a greater choice and, ultimately, a greater deal for the consumer. This Act will protect those on low incomes with government providing a subsidy that will be based on a specific percentage of the energy prices as decided by the Finance Ministry. |
