Message | Mr Speaker, even in times of war, the country must show humanitarianism. Use of land mines are inappropriate, and it is up to the legislature to commit to their never being used. |

Message | We completely agree, mines are an effective form of defense and could inflict costly casualties when deployed against the army. As far as humanitarianism is concerned, the enemie should think twice about invading our territory. |

Message | Mr Speaker, this simply demostrates the ignorance of the nationalist party. For land mines will not simply be used in this country. They will be used should we invade another country for whatever reasons, and will most likely effect civilians. Even if we were using them here, the chances of harming our citizens are extremely high. They should not be in use at all, Mr Speaker, and it will be a shame should this esteemed Parliament vote in their favour. |
