Message | I have a few concerns on Articles 2 and 4. What if there is a cancer patient who has only a few months to live in excruciating pain and treatment and he wants to end it quickly? He can only endure a few months of hell until his time comes. Therefore, I think that euthanasia should be legal with the consent of the patient and medical doctor. I understand that the government can save a lot of money by not subsidising drugs, but there are many people out there who live in poverty and cannot afford treatment. If an poor old man has a heart attack on the street, and he cannot afford the surgery and drugs, are you going to leave to die? |
