MessageWe believe that government appointees should, by definition, be political. The best candidate that the administration supports should be put forward- but government employees should believe in the policies they are implementing. We fear that the implementation of this will lead to a civil service which believes it has the role of minimising the effects of government policy. We cannot support this bill.

MessageBut what about a candidate who is blinded by his own party's doctrine that he (or she) cannot see the damage they are doing? Surely an unbias opinion is more valuable than a fanatical one.

MessageBesides what if someone better suited for the job is passed over because of politics? We all suffer because of it.
