Bill: Organ Donations Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Telamon Liberal Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2898
Description[?]:
Although organ donations are essential to saving lives, we must also remember that the organs are not something we can take whenever we need it. We must ask for permission before we can take things owned by other people. You wouldn't take someone else's pencil case or computer without asking and thinking that since he/she didn't say that I couldn't use it, he/she allows me to use it, would you? Certainly not. So why should organs be different? |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning organ donations.
Old value:: Unless otherwise stated, consent is assumed.
Current: Organ donation is universal and compulsory.
Proposed: Organ donations are legal with personal consent.

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law. |
