Bill: Vote of No Confidence in Finance Minister Ruben Mellor
Details
Submitted by[?]: Lyika ati Isọdọtun
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2913
Description[?]:
If a revised budget proposal that responds to the concerns listed below has not been presented to the National Assembly by the end of the year (2912), we will initiate this vote demanding his immediate replacement with a more competent official. Concerns: 1) Our defence budget accounts for over half of Ikradon's GNP. This must be cut. 2) Our finance budget is absurd, particularly given the ineptitude of the current minister's leadership. 3) The proposed increase in the Infrastructure and Transport budget has not been justified by passage of any significant legislature requiring such a huge investment. 4) The lack of support for the Ministry of Trade and Industry, especially given the recent wave of nationalization, is a sure recipe for economic failure. |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
