MessageWe have some questions here as to whether privatisation truely benefits this form of industry.

First is that, like many rail services, is there truely any competition between grid owners? If one company owns one area of the grid, then there will be no competition in that area. In this sense, any advantage in privately owning the grid is lost.

If multiple companies covered the same area, then at the end of the day we merely face national ineffciency, as we'd be attempting to run more than double the network than that which we actually required.

Areas and industries like this we believe are suitable to be maintained under the supervision of the people at large rather than by individuals.

Could we get some feedback from this bill's supporters?

MessageLike I said before, I'm tired of debating right now. If you really want to find out the consequentialist arguments for complete deregulation, I recommend Cato Policy Analysis No. 301
