Bill: Justice against Terrorism Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2920
Description[?]:
Justice Minister Rick Perry asks Parliament to approve this bill therefore giving the power to a judge to choose the death sentence for any leader of the Alorian Nationalist League if the crime fits for the punishment. The leaders of ANL are ruthless and have had killed almost a hundred people and cause panic in Aloria. If this bill passes the power of giving the death sentence will only be to those who are leaders of ANL, and not to anyone else as to respect the Humanity Act. The Justice Minister feels that those who are terrorists should be given the punishment of death if it is chosen as their sentence but is only asking for ANL leaders only. |

Message | Nothing will change except when a leader of the ANL goes to trial and is conivcted they can be sentenced to death by the judge if their crime is up to that punishment it is not saying they will be all sentenced to that ONLY if the Judge sentences that. |
Date | 13:25:42, April 08, 2010 CET | From | Genuine Progress Alliance | To | Debating the Justice against Terrorism Act |
Message | Current Alorian law specifically states, "The death penalty is illegal and is never to be applied." If the PP wishes to uphold the death sentences to these individuals, which we will continue to reject because of our belief in the respect for every human's right to life, they should do it in the proper manner. |

Message | We did it this way because we knew no one will vote to bring it back but we hoped the parties would make an addmendt to the law for ANL leaders. |
