Bill: Withdrawal from the Atheist State Treaty
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Independence Party (PCA)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2937
Description[?]:
For too long have Alorians languished under the oppressive regime of state atheism. This treaty imposes the will of foreign SECULARISTS on our religious people. Its ratification is an abomination of Alorian history. But surely even committed secularists can understand the value of the Democratic Will. Even you Bogless heathens who support secular lasciviousness ought to support the restoration of power to the Alorian people to choose the spiritual direction of their nation. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | We appreciate that Aloria is pre-occupied with terrorist attacks now. We don't intend to submit this for vote in the near future anyway. Could it be this very treaty which caused Bog to withdraw his special protection from our great nation? It it the state's commitment to mandatory atheism that allowed the NWO to succeed in its attack? We don't know. We just want to ask the question. Maybe the restoration of Aloria's religious liberty will make us safer. |
Date | 00:25:54, May 09, 2010 CET | From | National Socialist Party (PCA) | To | Debating the Withdrawal from the Atheist State Treaty |
Message | The irony of the New Independence Party preaching religious freedom is that it wants to endorse a particular religion, whereas the current national policy is a secular position; where the government takes no stance on religion. Irony and hypocrisy. - Robin Mosley, Congressman. |

Message | I'm glad you brought into debate. However, the treaty seprates the government and religion which is what the PP strongly supports, furthermore the treaty does resmable atheist(s) if it did it would have made it only religios schools be banned not let them be allowed. |

Message | We support this as although atheist, we understand that people should have a choice, and its not anything to do with politics, and therefore not anything to do with this government. OOC: an interesting read is the history of Aloria on the wikia, which tells all about the nation and the relationship with religion. |
