| Message | The fcurrent anthem represents the years of oppression Darnussia suffered under the Luitanians, the Deltrarians and then the Hobrazians. It is meaningful of Darnussia's thousands of years of oppression, and Darnussians unwillingness to stand for it. And also, "unto the Lord"? The CPD do not want religious refrences in their anthems, as it alienates other religious identities. Remember, the council have voted "no" for a state religion on numerous occasions, and you must honour that pledge by not refering to only two religions in our anthem. My research concludes that in the last 1500 years, Darnussia have been occupied by three international colonial powers, had 5 civil wars (the latest two confusingly called the "First and Second Darnussian Civil Wars"), participated in 11 wars overseas, and had more revolutions than Eastern Europe. |
