Message | You have no solid argument for article 1. Article 2- Certian people could go on strike with no reasonable ground for any reason and the owner would have to do whatever they wanted because his business would fail since he can't fire them. Article 3- Let's say all the police go on strike, a riot starts well were in trouble or what about if the the army went on strike during the attacks that just happened. |

Message | We prioritise the freedom of the working man over that of the capitalists businessman We also trust our police and army to be there in case of a national emergency. And if we want to stop strikes in the first place, let's treat our workers well |

Message | I want to know what is wrong with child labour? WHEN IT IS ONLY FOR FIVE HOURS AND IN THE ENTERINMENT INDUSTRY ONLY! Also it is a choice, you act like it's slavery. Apparently you don't trust the police them enough to let them decied if a protest contains a risk to public saftey and let them to break it up peacefully. |
Date | 10:33:00, May 13, 2010 CET | From | Free Democratic Party | To | Debating the Unions and Workers Act of 2937 |
Message | If the capitalist businessman has no freedom, there are no workers. We won't even consider the validity of the other two provisions while Article 2 remains in. |

Message | OOC: REAL-LIFE CASE SCENARIO: In the case of the 1969 Montreal Police Strike, police officers went on strike due to their demands for better working conditions and compensations. This resulted in the escalation of the Murray-Hill riot due to the lack of policemen on duty. You might want to think about that before giving absolute striking privileges to people. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
