Bill: Morals Legislation Devolution Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Independence Party (PCA)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2939

Description[?]:

Morals legislation of this nature is the proper domain of the Provinces. Why are we using up scarce federal police resources on this? If farmer Brown wants to hump his sheep, is that really a national problem?

We urge Congress to submit these matters to regulation by the Provinces.

MessageA local government may decied that it's perfectlly fine to go fuck your sheep. That is not right. I doubt highly religious people would support this.

MessageIf a local government feels its police resources are better spent elsewhere than regulating farmer-sheep relations, then that should be up to them.

We simply believe the federal government has more pressing matters.

MessageYes we have other matters to do but however that does mean we throw away laws and policies to local governments to do it when it could just lead to chaos. We won't stand for it, the NIP is starting to put proposals like the LPA.

MessageThe federal government can and will cover any policies, no matter how trivial. We were elected by all of Aloria, that is what the NSPA does not understand of devolution. We are all Alorians, not Ultranians or Sildarians, etc. Having regions of the country having political power only divides the country idiotically.

Message"i can understand local government power on certain things such as parks and maintenance of highways but certain moral issues need to be a national standard, and something like bestiality is such a moral issue to demand this." Dr. Jimmy Hearn (NCPA) Ministry of Health and Social Services

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).

Random quote: "Colonialism or imperialism, as the slave system of the West is called, is not something that is just confined to England or France or the United States. The interests in this country are in cahoots with the interests in France and the interests in Britain. It's one huge complex or combine, and it creates what's known not as the American power structure or the French power structure, but an international power structure. This international power structure is used to suppress the masses of dark-skinned people all over the world and exploit them of their natural resources." Malcolm X
