Bill: Private Gun Ownership Act 2941

Details

Submitted by[?]: NCPA

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2942

Description[?]:

In this modern age we do not need the average citizen with the need to own a gun/s. Guns are aggravators of crime and injustice not preventers. Long term this bill will cut accidental/suicidal deaths, murders and crime in general;

Killias study 2001 states that easier access to guns lead to more violence, or it could mean that larger amounts of violence lead to a higher level of gun ownership for self defense,

Either one, if we can cut out the gun worngdoing is preventable, I urge the congress to pass this bill and make Aloria safer.

thanks

MessageArticle 2 do not support.

Article 1.. it is good however, the current law does make some have to be carried openly. So my question is if we put article 1 byitself and it changed and article 2 current law stayed the same would it be safer or less safer.

Messagewe agree that if article 1 goes through then it would at least make the street potentially safer

however that is meteorically 'sweeping the issue under the carpet'

we would like to see what the other parties, last time this act was pushed by the NCPA it was a close defeat so we anticipate support

Messagearticle 2 will help enforce 1 while also allowing arrest to be made easily.

As anyone not concealing their weapon means they are undoubtedly not obliged to carry it.

I am really unsure who would need to conceal their weapon save undercover police or covert agents etc. (extreme case)

I don't want the average Alorian walking around with knife concealed or something like that.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
