Message | Mr Speaker, can we ask why a single person should not be able to apply for adoption? We understand why the HNP wish to have such an intensive programme given their ideologies, but cannot fathom why they would wish to stop individuals from adopting. |

Message | Mr Speaker, we vote yes on the simple matter of a child requiring a stable backround of both a father and a mother, a man and a woman. |

Message | Mr Speaker, this bill would still allow homosexual couples to adopt children. |
Date | 16:46:34, May 25, 2010 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Adoption Amendment |
Message | Mr Speaker, surely a caring individual is more caring than state facilities. |

Message | Mr Speaker, the whole Act sees that the child will go to a home that truly cares and the long adoption procedure. It is better for a child to be raised by a family and not an individual, perhaps Labour can tell us what their comment actually means and why they are opposing this Act. |
Date | 22:23:41, May 25, 2010 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Adoption Amendment |
Message | Mr speaker, we are suggesting that it is better for a child to be brought up by a caring individual who will provide this child with genuine love, than by the state who will not show any love whatsoever to the child, as a faceless organisation naturally will not. |

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law. |
