Voting deadline: April 2946
Description[?]:
“Taxes in Aloria were turned upside down. People were paying way too much for taxes and some not even their own fair share. The lower class does have to pay taxes I propose it from 1% to 6% something that I have never felt opposition for. The middle class was taxed at 25% now it shall be 18%. The rich were taxed 50 percent of the income. Alorians are hurting. We must relieve them from hurting at once. I have checked the numbers and the revenue will be in 400 billion, with our spending that will be passed in the new budget proposal we will have a surplus of 41 billion. Way above the Emergency Fund Act. With such a surplus I can talk with the Finance Minister on ways to use it as well we will be well prepared for any emergency’s or departments that need more funding. This tax proposal must be passed”-President Mark Burton |

Message | Well, we'd prefer tax simplification, meaning less brackets, before anything. After that, we think that the lowest threshold should be 1 (meaning everyone pays taxes), but that could be at a rate as low as 1%. It's just the principle of the thing. We also think that the business tax rate should be cut, if not eliminated. After that, tax cuts should go from the bottom up, cutting the bottom brackets cuts everyone taxes, and their shouldn't be any cuts to the top if it's at the expense of potential cuts that could be made to the bottom. All that being said, we will support this tax bill, though expect at the very least later reccomendations from the Ministry of Finance on how to simplify this. |
