Description[?]:

The nation's policy on the separation of the police and the military
Currently, Aldurian policy prohibits the military from supporting the police. With the rise of terrorism, the civilian police force may not be able to handle everything situation. This bill provides for an optional resource if the police force needs it. It in no way takes power away from them.

MessageCurrently, the parliament must pass a special law to sanction the deployment of military in emergency. It is a safe guard against autocratic mesures such as coups.

MessageWe all see how long it takes Parliment to vote for anything. Localities should have the power to call for aid when they need it, not when we get around to it.

If the military wanted to coup, they would do so without an invite.... that's why it's called a coup....

MessageIf the Police Force can not handle it, then improve the Polie Force and Intelligence Agencies.
What kind of country uses the military up on its own people?
We believe it is called a military dictatorship, or something along those ligns...
Not necessarily, the more active the military is, the larger it is, the more power it feels it has, the more it may feel inclined to take the power it may feel it "deserves".

MessageOCC: Would you consider the National Gaurd military? If so, then appearently, America is a military dictatorship.

MessageThe United States is very much influenced by its Military. Not to the point of dictatorship of course.
Look at the budget spending, and what's more, the spending is secret, as they may reveal "military secrets".
Look at the decadence of foreign military installations, the U.S. spends lavishly on upgrading continously.
Installations that are in countries whose well being have been repeatedly jeopordised by this presence, or whose same are stable to a point where these installations are pointless. If only to fuel the military industrial complex.
But we ramble.
Best keep the military seperated from the civilians.
