| In light of the recent changes in the political structure of our great Commonwealth, and in order to foster a renewed sense of civic pride and unity, it is hereby resolved to adopt a new flag embodying the nation. The new design retains the dragon as the national emblem, but replaces the oriental dragon with a western dragon rampant, facing the sinister (left) side of the banner. The dragon rampant is gold on a field of blue. The blue has been darkened to royal blue. |
