Voting deadline: May 2140
Description[?]:
I as leader of the CPD make a personal request to the government of Dorvik. Let us withdraw ourselves from all international treatys that we are are currently enslaved to. Whilst these treaties have a grip on our nation we have not got the power to decide on certain issues. Surely as a government we should be able to suggest and pass all laws and not have some piece of paper determining what we can and cannot debate. I hope you make the right choice on this most important matter Barbara Pearson Leader of the CPD and Presidential candidate. |

Message | In our increasingly gobalized world, it is vitally important that we are a member of the international community. We must work with our neighbors instead of retreating into a shell by pursuing free trade and open borders, ultimately benefitting all parties. These intergovernmental agreements are one step toward that vision. |
Date | 13:01:17, November 12, 2005 CET | From | Noordelijk Bevrijding Front | To | Debating the International Treatys Withdrawal Act |
Message | These treaties do not hold any sway over national sovereignty, they are treaties that all parties agreed would best serve Dorvik, thus they are the product of a NATIONAL desicion. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
