| Message | Rt Hon Harold Marelle, Finance Minister, Mr Speaker, the Defence budget shall be raised to over 8Bn HLR. This allows us to proceed with plans to update our nuclear arsenal and expand military numbers once again. The current Hutorian Army will be outlined in a Defence review that the Defence Minister has assured the House will be presented with in 3004. This spending plan just sees that the extra 6Bn HLR raised in the tax increases is spent on the Hutorian Military. |
