We should not tolerate smoking or tobacco products at all. It is horrible to the health of the citizens which regularly smoke, which for their health, we, the government, should step in and save them from this drug. Not adding hundreds of thousands of people die from second hand smoking alone. We must protect our citizens, therefore setting this probation. |

Current: Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner. However, service/employer property owners that allow smoking must provide a separate non-smoking section.

Message | Mr. Speaker, We are strongly in favour of discouraging cigarettes and tobacco-smoking, but prohibition isn't the way. As well as the civil liberties implications, there is the risk of opening up a massive black market which would fuel organised crime in Dorvik. |
