Bill: Charter School Act of 3095
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3095
Description[?]:
“Members of Parliament I ask you to approve this bill quickly so it can be made into laws. When it comes to education my party and the people want local governments to have more control over education. Back before Dolores Madison our education system was failing our kids but now we have given more control to local governments over education and our system is doing great. However charter schools are still being controlled by national government policy, this bill will make funding and everything of charter schools under the control of local governments.”-Donald King |

Message | OOC: Take a look at the current education system in the United States. It's horrible and I would know. All because it is running by a national government IC: "The proof is in the past results of the Alorian education system. Who are we members of Parlilment to know what is better for schools not in our district. Local governments know more about their schools then they do, they are closer to the people then we are and understand the issues. This policy should be down closer to the people which is local governments. We are striving to give people more control here" |

Message | OOC: In the US, they are pushing for more hours in schools lesser summer break because they believe it will lead to higher test scores when acctuly it doesnt. Plus the tests they want higher scores don't show anything because it doesnt help us for the real world. |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
