Bill: Crackdown on Illegal Asylum Seekers
Details
Submitted by[?]: Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3100
Description[?]:
Hopefully this ball shall pass swiftly. We need to crackdown on anyone who comes here illegally. First of all we do not know who they are, they could be terrorists, serial killers anyone. They have broken Alorian law and came here illegally so why should we give them preferential treatment? lastly, there are other genuine asylum seekers waiting in line legally but along comes an illegal and pushes in front of that line, that is grossly unfair to the legal ones. |

Message | OOC: We have a very big problem with illegal asylum seekers in the UK and Europe in general. In the UK some estimates have put it at 500,000 some as high as 1,000,000 illegal immigrants in the UK. The reason for this was a sot immigration policy from the previous Labour government, being a loyal Labour supporter that is one nothing I will never forgive them on. There are countless other refugees waiting patiently in line just to be considered to getting into the UK but along comes a selfish person and pushes the rest into the back of the line, that hardly seems fair. |

Message | But what's to say they won't break back into Aloria again once expelled? |

Message | Because firstly we will have a file of who they are, secondly they will know that we are not soft on illegal immigration so they will be more inclined to go to a country that has softer policies. |
Date | 16:20:56, April 02, 2011 CET | From | Revolutionary Worker's Party | To | Debating the Crackdown on Illegal Asylum Seekers |
Message | Sure they could be terrorrists, criminals, etc, but that is the reason why they go to integration centers. Things can't be taken in black and white situations, each case must be considered differently. That said, we shall vote no. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
