Bill: Budget proposal of July 3103

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3104

Description[?]:

“Our economy is still not doing well, and we are losing money of our surplus about 2 billion a month. This has slowed down however; I am proposing another round of cuts targeted at my department personally and the Science and Technology Department only. Tough times call for tough measures but we are trying to make sure our acts do not hurt people. We hope not have to raise the taxes again as this will only keep hurting people and may overall curb any growth of the economy. I will make it clear no Health and Social Services will be cut.

Finance Ministry: After a strict review of all spending in the Finance Ministry I have came to the conclusion that I can cut another five billion from my budget. This will not have a huge impact at all but only transfer workload of some of the offices to other offices. All work will still be done. Payments to state contractors will be made on time; as well our Tax Evasion and Fraud Office will keep running efficiently.

Science and Technology: Minister Rose has offered ten billion up in funding of his ministry. He has made perfectly clear that the breakout has died down and enough supply of the cure has been developed shipped to hospitals and some are in storage at the government. The funding will cut research (not all) into space exploration. Even through Minister Rose would like to keep all projects at funding, he recognizes that departments must be flexible and believes that most of his projects can continue on time except space exploration. This will not have any negative effect on the economy.

(OOC: Better safe then sorry, if any other party believes they can cut from their department then that would be great. However we really cant cut from Health because of some laws.
