Bill: New National Sport
Details
Submitted by[?]: Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3105
Description[?]:
Baseball is not a logical sport to have as our national sport. Football is plainly because we have tow treaties signed which promote the beautiful game of football, and that is why it should be our national sport as we are actively promoting it on the world stage. OOC:I am meaning the proper football, not your American Football which isn't really football when you have the ball in your hands for most of the match so why call it football? We call it Gridiron in Europe just as you call football soccer I do not know why but thats just the way it is and it is very stupid in my opinion. |

Message | If we are promoting it on the world stage then ok. It used to be Alorian Football. |
Date | 01:10:24, April 13, 2011 CET | From | Christian Democratic Party | To | Debating the New National Sport |
Message | OOC: it would fit better with the makeup of Aloria, which is more European, specially British from what I've gathered. but maybe go with rugby union, or something to make us stand out, as i think alot of places list Soccer. |
Date | 03:16:36, April 13, 2011 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the New National Sport |
Message | OOC: How about Rugby League? I find rugby league much more fun and exciting than union, rugby union is too slow but league is much more fast paced and exciting. |
Date | 03:19:49, April 13, 2011 CET | From | Christian Democratic Party | To | Debating the New National Sport |
Message | OOC: That works as well. Isn't that also Sevens, or what they will be playing in the Olympics this time around? |
Date | 03:20:56, April 13, 2011 CET | From | Christian Democratic Party | To | Debating the New National Sport |
Message | OOC: Nvm, but still works for me, as rather not join the many nations that have soccer, err football. |
Date | 03:26:56, April 13, 2011 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the New National Sport |
Message | OOC; Sevens is like union but with seven players they play it in the Commonwealth games and yes they will be playing it in London too, but league is a bit different from union and sevens. |
