Bill: Legalistation Of All Natural Drugs

Details

Submitted by[?]: Labour Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3118

Description[?]:

Legalising all natural drugs is a good thing let me tell you. By doing so, shady drug dealers will be no more, violent crimes over drug dealing will be no more, drug smuggling will be a thing of the past and heroin junkies in backstreet alleys will be off the streets. If tobacco and alcohol are legal then this should be too, we have no right to dictate what they can and cannot put into their bodies, it is their life and they can ruin it if they want to. Also, legal or illegal drugs are here to stay, so you may as well knock out the criminals and junkies by legalising it.

MessagePreposterous - Why?

1) Worker Efficiency will be undermined.
2) Unhealthy Population.
3) Deformed Births.
4) More drug abuse if found easier.
5) Too much money from the economy being used for rehabilitation programs and Methadone.
6) Too much hospitalization, reducing the number of seats in hospital for other patients.
7) Abusive Police Force.
8) Unreliable Soldiers if on legal drugs.

These are just some of the effects of legalizing and distributing natural drugs in pharmacies. Have you got any idea what harm heroin does? If it's legal, people will start experimenting with it like crazy.
The fact that it's illegal makes the majority of people too scared to start using it and thus keeping people safe from the harms that come with th drug.

MessageAnd heroin junkies will be off the streets? How immature. You really have no idea what you're talking about. As if users can control their intake of that addictive substance? More will lose their money, eventually their homes and every secure thing in their lives. I'm sorry but we do not approve of this at all.

MessageOh yeah? You are just showing an extreme of things. By legliasing it, there will be no more drug gangs, dealers and smugglers. As if your points don't happen already, people take drugs legal or illegal but by legalising it gets rid of the criminals taking advantage of drugs.

By way Platodealist, how the hell is what is said immature? What I am doing actually works. I have been to the Netherlands where drugs are all legal and you see heroin cafes in Amsterdam and Rotterdam where normal people smoke a little bit of heroin then go, they are not addicts. When I was there in Amsterdam, I didn't see not one junkie smoking in the cafe or walking in the streets high as hell. Not one at all. However in the UK, where drugs are illegal you see homeless junkies in Waterloo Station and Oxford Street begging for money for them to buy drugs. This sort of thing does not happen in the Netherlands because the black market has been wiped out there by legalisation.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
