Bill: Power Generation and Transmission Reforms Act II
Details
Submitted by[?]: Partisans And Artisans League
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2145
Description[?]:
The full privatisation of power generation in Beluzia would remove the current inefficiently run state power stations and see them replaced by private power stations or bought over by private investors. As with the sale of the national grid, a monopoly comission would be set up to ensure reasonable distrubution among private companies. A small tax relief would be provided for companies who show a significant commitment to generating electricity by environmentally friendly methods. The government may hold a power station in the intermitent period between the bankruptcy of a firm and the finding of a new owner. The government also maintains the right to station armed security personnel in times of national emergencies and war situations. If this bill or the bill concerning the national grid become national law they will be followed by a decrease in taxes and a decrease in funding allocated to the Ministry of Infrastructure. |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
