Message | Beluzia is reporting the following: "BELUZIA AND RUTANIA GO TO WAR! BREAKING NEWS: WAR DECLARED: The Supreme National Council of Beluzia has officially approved the declaration of War with Rutania. The majority party would only say that "we need to go to war". An immediate nuclear attack on the Northern Rutanian cities was launched. Bozarburg, Karlsdorf, Klausenburg, Spaak and the capital Port Nelson as well as former capital Hayek were hit with the largest and most destructive of the Beluzian nuclear stockpile in the opening moments of the war. Other cities including Newtonia, Wellington and Faradafry were hit with biological weapons with the ability to wipe out entire populations. As well as this, reports indicate the entire Beluzian armed forces, including the army, navy and airforce, have crossed the border to the North and have begun their attempt at controlling Rutania. Witnesses indicate Delvar has essentially fallen to Beluzian control, stronger defences having not been in place in time. Military experts have noted that the Beluzian forces seem to be going all out to destroy and control what is left. More to come...." This is all lies, the recent election shows Delvar is still in Rutanian control. There are no reports of nuclear attacks and the missile shield appears to be working. Message | Mr Speaker, First of all, I apologise to my fellow parliamentarians and, indeed, to every Rutanian for underestimating the contagiousness of Ethan Dawkins's lunacy and for overestimating Beluzian ethical sophistication. This piece of "news" is mere propaganda by Ethan Dawkins; he has already shown his propensity for exaggeration, truth-twisting and lying before. There is still a chance for peace if we could only make the Beluzian majority party realise the import of their decisions. If Beluzia supports this silly nonsense, Rutania has no choice except to wage war on Beluzia and possibly invade the nation and thousands of lives will be lost. This is all unnecessary. Reginald Blackburn Parliamentarian. |

Message | Fools! We have the absolute support of the majority party. You can spend your time convincing each other that will change, whilst we sweep through your regions. The Bill passed. The nuclear stockpile was launched. The Biological weapons were launched. This was approved by the legislator. The Rutanian government is doomed. Former President of Rutania, Leader of the New Front Alliance, Leader of the Nation, National State of Beluzia, Ethan Dawkins. |

Message | OOC: I find it hard to believe that 6 nuclear bombs were detonated as such an act would put the entire continent in a Nuclear Winter. As was said on the Forum, that is god-modding and that is illegal. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
