Message | Rt Hon Duke Townsend MP, Hutorian Conservative Party Leader, Mr Speaker, this is just the persecution of religious people and we know exactly why the Prime Minister has proposed such a Bill. He thinks the HCP is targeting a certain section of the population so he is going an eye for an eye and attacking a certain section of the population who the HCP defends. Quite immoral if you ask me that he would stoop so low. I really do hope that all parties in this House rise above the PM's petty games and realise that religion has a crucial role to play in our society and the Prime Minister is just playing games with peoples lives by proposing this Bill. |

Message | Rt Hon Hector James MP, Prime Minister. Mr Speaker, this has nothing to do with any other piece of legislation. The HCP leader can "speculate" all he wishes. I know what my ideals are, and that is for no child to be ushered into religion without making an educated and adult decision about what they believe. |
Date | 23:21:22, July 28, 2011 CET | From | Progressive Conservative Party | To | Debating the Keep Religion out of our Schools |
Message | Hon Winston Hadley, Leader of PCP Mr Speaker, This time we agree with HCP we can't only ban all religions, they are an importan part of our country and citizens should be able to decide if they want to go in religious schools, what we agree it's the religion should still pay they tax and they should stay out of politics but this bill go to far and we can't accept this. |
