Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3319
Description[?]:
It is one thing to view the government as having a role to play in the economy. It is quite another to kill off entrepreneurs and private enterprise entirely. Such policies are motivated solely by socialist dogma and ignore the importance of economic growth in raising living standards. While we acknowledge that governments have to play a role in overseeing the arena in which economic actors operate, we do not accept that the government should exercise the iron fist of control. The appropriate role is modest subsidy in strategic areas, oversight of others, and allowing private sector autonomy in the remainder. - Tobias Schreer, industry spokesperson for the Konservative Partei. |

Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | Our Government must have complete control over the nation's defence so it can be given to all in common and energy production so it can be given to all citizens cheaply and effectively. Private control would have these focus only on profit and not servicing the nation has a whole. The only part of this bill I agree with is the proposal stated by Article 5, but my vote for this bill is nay. -Sarah Clairman, Economic and Industry spokesperson for The Party of Demokratik Merkantilist |
