Bill: Strong Justice

Details

Submitted by[?]: Konservative Partei

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3320

Description[?]:

Strong punishments in response to criminal actions are a critical part of developing an orderly society. Reintroducing the death penalty and enabling slavery as a punishment will send a powerful message to society that criminal behaviour by miscreants will not be tolerated. Moreover, we believe that just as criminals at home should not be shown leniency, neither should we give quarter to those people who try to tear down our country on the battlefield.

- Jens Kniebe, justice spokesperson for the Konservative Partei.

Does the honorable Kniebe truly wish to treat other human beings as animals?

1.The death penalty is an archaic method of justice that is more vengeance than anything else. And it has already been shown that the death penalty does not deter crime in the slightest. Why should we even consider it?

2.POW's must be treated humanely for we are not savages as the honorable Kniebe would have us believe. Executing them, will only serve to enrage any opponents our nation may face in the future.

3. Any form of involuntary servitude should always be prohibited. It is an inhuman practice and should be practised in the slightest.

John Willman- justice spokeperson for the Party of Demokratik Merkantilist

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.

Random quote: "The great strength of the totalitarian state is that it forces those who fear it to imitate it." - Adolf Hitler
