Bill: Sensible and Clean Energy Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partei des Demokratischen Merkantilismus

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3323

Description[?]:

In order to provide our nation with massive amounts of energy and low to zero amounts of CO2, we must create more nuclear power plants and develop any hydro electric dams where possible. Fossil fuel is dirty and most renewables, while very clean, are intermittent and do not produce enough energy.

MessageWe would be likely to support the proposal. Given that the current policy on nuclear power - encouraging its development and research through government support - has been in place for a long time now, we think that it's now the right time to move to the next stage, and shift to a formal policy whereby the majority of our energy needs are met by nuclear generation.

- Peter Kemmer, minister for the environment (KP).

Random fact: Whilst the use of non-English languages can be appropriate for nation names, party names, constitutional titles and other variables, English is the official language of communication in the game. All descriptive texts and public communications should be in English or at least appear alongside a full English translation.
