| Upon the passage of this Act, the following proposals shall become law. Corollary I: The SNP asks that all automobiles in the nation be able use ethanol blend or be modified to use ethanol biofuel. Corollary II: The SNP asks that a subsidy be passed, that more funding be put into the Transportation budget, to subsidize the ethanol industry (for the next five years ... or until able to operate without subsidy) as well as subsidize the modification of ALL currently owned motor vehicles to use ethanol biofuels by 3325. We feel that the subsidy should be around §10 billion for the next three years, then decreasing to §5 billion, then to §2.5 billion for the final year. |

Old value:: There are no regulations on the ownership of private cars.
Current: Private cars are allowed, but people are encouraged to travel collective and tax incentives are provided for cars using environmentally friendly fuels.
Proposed: Only cars using environmentally friendly fuels are allowed.

| Message | While the SNP does not generally appreciate mandatory policies, in this regard it wishes to spur the economy by emphasizing the use of ethanol and other biofuels that are raised and produced in Saridan. These biofuels are produced almost exclusively from sugarcane, of which Saridan is greatly suited to growing and already has an infrastructure for its use due to the policies of past administrations. The small automotive industry that Saridan maintains would be spurred to modify recently purchased cars or trucks to take either ethanol blend or full ehtanol fuels; however, given that most modern autos can take ethanol blend without modification the subsidy for such car owners would be minimal. We also are asking that all new automobiles, tractors, locomotives, and aircraft made in Saridan be able to use 100% ethanol biofuels. |
