Vanuku is presently a member of the tyrannical International Convention on Intellectual Property Rights. (Treaty text: "The purpose of this treaty is to promote technological development and the rule of law by coordinating international enforcement of appropriate copyright and patent laws, while still allowing for legitimate fair use of intellectual property by third-parties.") In order to abolish copyright and end the barriers to technological advancement stifling Vanuku, we must first withdraw from the Convention. |
