Bill: Legislative Reform of 3392
Details
Submitted by[?]: Demokratychna Delic Partija
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3394
Description[?]:
In the past election only 315 of our 380 seats were filled this was after two failed proposals one from the national congress and one from the Whigs to lower the amount of seats to an amount higher than 315. For this reason we propose lowering the seats to ensure competitive elections where all seats are filled, this number being 300. |

Message | We are not opposed to this reform in principle. But we favor odd numbers, like 299 or 301, to avoid the possibility of hung parliaments. |

Message | In the election prior to this one we had 315 seats filled we cant risk having that again. |

Message | The Whig Party is thus saying that it's better for people to have no representation rather then leave seats unfilled? Previous elections had more seats. |

Message | Unfilled seats is no representation, your logic makes no sense. By lowering the seats we ensure everyone is represented with no empty seats, your party would rather risk situations where entire sections of the country have no representation. |
