Description[?]:
WHEREAS - Current policy denotes that any person in Terra may receive the benefits of nationality of this great nation, creating an absurd challenge of bureaucracy and meaningless to our nationality. - Current policy does not give priveledge to nationally born Likatons and does not give exclusivity for continuing on the heritage of our race. - Current policy offers citizenship to all races, regardless of whether they are Seleyanese or Likaton, which are preferable in our nation. - Current policy does not offer exclusivity to a Likatonian citizenship and does not require members of our society to carry important identity cards. SECTION I A. Nationality is hereby restricted to members of our society with a Likaton or Seleyanese race. B. It is considered a criminal defense to lie about one's race to a government or security official. SECTION II C. Nationality is only continued through descendents and not through immigration. To be a Likatonian national, one must be born to two Likatonian nationals. D. Immigrants are not applicable to be considered Likatonian nationals. E. Marrying a non-national will result in loss of nationality. SECTION III F. Only specific races are to be given citizenship to Likatonia. This list must include the Likaton race, but Government Officials and the Dorum may select other races as required. G. Lying about one's race is a capital charge. H. The Government retains the right to cease other citizenships to foreign nations upon entrance into Likatonian citizenship. Likewise, the Government retains the right to restrict citizenship to exclusive Likatonian nationals. SECTION IV I. All individuals within Likatonia are required to carry Government issued identity cards that will prominently proclaim that they are either a national, a citizen, a foreigner, a diplomat and which race they come from. J. Failure to have an identity card after three instances will result in a criminal charge. A fee will be levied each instance at the official's discretion. |

Message | Mr. Runatjs (Speaker), The Likaton Vieniba Partija is proud to move this legislation before the Dorum. For too long we have diluted what it means to be Likaton and what it means to be a member of this great nation. No longer, for we shall begin the Vienibist way and unite our people under our home and our nation: Likatonia! We hereby open debate. |
Date | 02:38:42, February 04, 2013 CET | From | AM Radical Libertarian Party | To | Debating the LVP: B004 - Vienibist Nationality and Citizenship Act - 3435 |
Message | The AM RLP cannot support such an overtly racist measure. Many of our great patriots have been immigrants, or born of immigrant stock. Further, who shows greater love for a country; one who is there because he was born there or one who freely chooses to leave his ancestral home to come and live in it? |
Date | 12:57:27, February 04, 2013 CET | From | Likatonian Left Federation | To | Debating the LVP: B004 - Vienibist Nationality and Citizenship Act - 3435 |
Message | We agree with the libertarians, these laws are exceptionally restrictive and will harm national unity by relegating others to second class citizens. It will also damage our image in Terra. There are certain shades of fascism in this bill. |

Message | This legislation is a clear example of Vienibism and the ideals of uniting the Likaton race under our flag, and Likatonia. This is a necessary step foward, but are willing to work with the other parties to compromise where possible. Perhaps my colleagues in the Dorum could indicate what they are willing to work with us on to make this bill possible and support-enducing? |

Message | Unfortunately, the AM RLP cannot support any of the provisions of this bill, as it is a primary tenant of our belief that all people, no matter what racial identity they may have or claim, are and must remain equal in the eyes of the law. We can never support any legislation which in any way removes this equality. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, While understanding the concerns of the AM RLP; we will move the legislation to a vote. We hope a change of mind will beseech the ruling party and their affliates. |
