Description[?]:
So i was browsing wikipedia and i found that the Arab names for Morocco and Egypt are different then the English names. Morocco's name in Arabic is Al-Maghrib, translated as "The West". Egypt is Al-Misr in Arabic, roughly translated as "The Two Straits", but could also mean "Country", or "Frontier-land". (See link for further details) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt#Names Maybe we could have the same for Kafuristan, with Kafuristan being the English name and another, yet to be determined, name for Arabic(Majatran). I will try if i can find some suggestions and let me know what you guys think of it. Suggestions: Al-Jazirat (The Peninsula) Al-Sakhrah (The Rock)(because of Kafuristan's mountainous geography) Al-Jabal (The Mountain) Al-Najd (The Highland) Al-Jannah (Paradise, the Garden) Al-Qalb (The Heart)(because of Kafuristan being the heartland of the Majatran People and the Majatran Culture) Al-Sahra (The Desert) Al-Jawharah (The Jewel) |

Message | OOC: This is a great idea. I like Peninsula, Rock, Heart. Garden is a bit strange if it's a desert country though. Al-Sahra is quite close to Sahara I think. Or Al-Jawharah (The Jewel)? I found this site: http://mylanguages.org/arabic_romanization.php Doesn't work with Chrome but you can paste Arabic script into it and it gives you a Latin transliteration. It's not great and you should Google what it gives you to make sure you found the 'official transliteration'. |

Message | OOC: @TheNewestParty: Thanks mate, at least its better then nothing. It gives me more to search google with. I really like youre suggestion. I will put it in the list. Which of these suggestions is youre favorite? @Farsun: If did some searching and i came up with this. "The Coast" would be "Al-Sahil" or "Al-Sahel" |

Message | I like the Rock and the Heart, but if i have to choose between them i think the Heart (al-Qalb) sounds good in Majatran. I will post a bill for the new national name. |
