Message | Mr. Speaker, I sympathise with the intention behind this Bill, but it is of deep concern to me that Dranland's marriage laws have been changed so many times in recent decades - and every time we change them, we cause disruption to Dranish families. Timothy Breckinridge MP Chairman of the Dranish Conservative Party |
Date | 01:04:40, April 30, 2013 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Restoration of marriage act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, It is a shame that the honourable chairman of the DCP doesn't ant to stand up for traditional marriage, for stable family units, even if he supports these on a personal basis. Just because the law changes to not consider marriage some kind of "formalization of love", it doesn't mean that other unions of people will be forced to break up. I urge Mr. Breckinridge and his colleagues to rethink their position on this bill. Thamidea Aegwyn, MP Werin Deg Spokesperson on Human Rights |
Date | 02:08:38, April 30, 2013 CET | From | Dranish Conservative Party | To | Debating the Restoration of marriage act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, the new and more enlightened leadership of the Dranish Conservative Party believes marriages is central to the future of our society and must be respected at all costs. We passionately support this legislation and urge all other MPs to do likewise. President Rafael Duvalle Chairman of the Dranish Conservative Party |
Date | 20:54:11, April 30, 2013 CET | From | Grand National Party | To | Debating the Restoration of marriage act |
Message | Mr Speaker, this bill will coerce people to adjust their personal, religious and spiritual ideas of marriage and partnership to those of the government. Unfortunately the DCP under Duvalle has shifted back to its dogmatic opposition to individual autonomy in family life. Graham Breckinridge MP Member for Magadonia RFR Parliamentary Leader |
Date | 21:51:10, April 30, 2013 CET | From | Dranish Conservative Party | To | Debating the Restoration of marriage act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Graham Breckinridge's claims are absurd. This Bill does not "coerce" anybody. All we are doing is recognising an existing institution. We are not the ones who invented marriage. Actually, marriage has been around for thousands of years. Is it too much to ask the RFR to show a little respect for that? President Rafael Duvalle Chairman of the Dranish Conservative Party |

Random quote: "The Revolution needs to progress. We as humans need to evolve into higher beings through better moral virtues. And we can achieve that if we clean ourselves from the immoral. Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary |
