| The job of the government is to protect the people. In the event that the government fails to protect the people, the people may change their government as they see fit. If changing the government by democratic means fails, then there must be a Plan B. |

Old value:: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.
Current: Individuals are not permitted to own firearms under any circumstances.
Proposed: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
