Date | 13:41:57, May 05, 2013 CET | From | SCI Libertarian-Socialist Syndicate (LL) | To | Debating the SCI Anti-Religion Bill |
Message | State-Sponsored Sanity and the abolition of the "freedom" of schizophrenia. This is SCI-specific legislation, we don't expect our LL brethren to share our distaste for this particular destructive societal meme. |
Date | 14:35:34, May 05, 2013 CET | From | Green-Left Communalist Collective | To | Debating the SCI Anti-Religion Bill |
Message | Our Syndicate, speaking collectively, is a secular organisation with a strong atheistic tradition. We stand for reason and enlightened humanism. We do however have many members committed to the Indralan Eastern Spiritual Enlightenment movements, as well as other ethicists with a tradition founded in the mystical 'Seeker' movement. We will support the banning of religious promotion, as organised religion is a scourge, but not on the banning of religion on a societal level for libertarian reasons. |
Date | 07:45:43, May 06, 2013 CET | From | Democratic Communist Party (DCP) (LL) | To | Debating the SCI Anti-Religion Bill |
Message | Most of my parties members are atheist/agnostic but we do have members of many religious affiliations that are objected to Capitalism as a moral issue, and thusly we can not support an all out ban on religion. |

Message | We would abstain as we believe that legislation proposed by our fellow libertarian socialists must be of the same principles as ourselves, however, as we disagree on this article, and we wish to always exercise our member's votes in the Presidium we will vote no. |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
