Message | We strongly support. We believe that foreign investors may influence national enterprises in a capitalist direction. |
Date | 18:52:24, May 11, 2013 CET | From | PDP (Pro Dictatorship Party) | To | Debating the Protect Domestic Investors Clause of 3483 |
Message | If more money flows out of the country then in, naturaly things will end horribly. Therefore the PDP find this bill useful in the protection of investors and keeps the country safe and happy. |
Date | 22:14:51, May 11, 2013 CET | From | SCI Libertarian-Socialist Syndicate (LL) | To | Debating the Protect Domestic Investors Clause of 3483 |
Message | As long as we have Democratic Workers' Councils, no one should worry about foreign investment because, as opposed to a capitalist ownership mentality, investment does not equal ownership. The workers will all still be fully in control of the company and no profits will be lost. I envision Ikradonian Foreign Investment simply as a loan mechanism. The company in question receives "investment" from a foreign entity and the money is used for capital outlays on expansion of production (or whatever) and a pre-agreed interest or set price is, at some point, returned to the investor. No ownership is exchanged because no one but the workers can have ownership of the company. |

Message | We sympathise with the SCI and understand their view that the DWCs fundamental to Ikradon's economy radically alter the socio-economic mentality of workers planning collectively and individually. However, the majority of our members, many being protectionists opposed to the the use of capital for funding environmental destruction, have decided to vote in favour of this bill. |
