| Monsieur le président, It has now been nearly a decade and a half since the civic, velvet revolution that toppled the monarchy and restored the Republic of Alduria. In that time, we have continued to use a flag which bears symbols associated with the monarchy and Royalist government. | Message | We are in support of changing the flag on the grounds of removing oppressive imperial symbolism. While we find the proposed flag bland, it is better than symbols of brute oppression. Change the flag to depict genitalia for all we care, so long as it does not depict a swastika or anything of that nature. |
