MessageDue to the DCPs withdrawal from the LL and creation of an unnecessary splinter group we cannot join this cabinet with them under the name of a LL. This has nothing to do with the overturn of our religious policies, we have always stood by our leftist comrades regardless in differences of opinion, we ask why the DCP could not do the same and instead elected to try and separate leftist unity?

MessageQuite frankly I feel you have too much political power and that your party has authoritarian tendencies that worry me. If you wish to take me out of your cabinet that is fine. I will continue to work with you where possible in the future. I think we need an organization that understands leftist's philosophy is for both economic and civil rights and we are not getting that from the LL. If your read the charter of the organization my party has founded you will see that the candidate that we endorse does not have to come from the UL, in essence we reserve the right to endorse candidates from the LL in a situation where the party is either aligned with our beliefs on both economic and social issues or in an emergency situation where we have a conservative revival like happened a few decades ago. Either way, this is less division and more recognition that the socialism that is currently being advocated by the LL is unacceptable. We need a socialism that respects all, and provides freedom for all. And again, political power seems to be far to concentrated right now.

MessageFurthermore, the United Left is something I was planing while you were inactive. I wanted a more active organization.
