| Senators, According to intelligence reports on troop movements in Majatra and Foreign Affairs speaking with Zardic representatives, we believe that hostilities are about to resume between Deltaria and Zardugal. We ask the Imperial Senate to consider a position of militarily aiding the Federation. The war is not an attempt by Deltaria to establish hegemony on Majatra, but a measure of self-defence against Zardic imperialism. A thorough examination of the causes of the war will reveal that Zardugal's ignoring international obligations her unpermissible involvement in Deltaria's internal affairs eventually led to the escalation of tensions. Deltaria wishes to confirm her good will and friendship towards Selucia, and denies any desire to exert any kind of supremacy or dominion over the Selucian isles. |
