Article I

Restoration of the traditional Flag of Alduria

Article II

The Monarchy will 'oversee' appointment of mayors. This does *not* mean that they will be doing any direct appointments. Instead, this means that the Monarch will grant duly chosen mayors official charters of approval.

Article III

The Monarchy will be hereditary, but Head of State elections will continue, allowing the populace to elect a Viceroy by popular vote, who will represent the Monarchy in His Majesty's Government

Article IV

As per tradition, only the Monarch may bestow titles of nobility

Article V

The party represented in His Majesty's Government by the Viceroy will have the power to propose/nominate a Cabinet. Note that this does not say 'appoint', meaning that the full legislature will have to confirm it, as always. This

Article VI

Hereditary nobles are able to practice their traditional rights, but this is absolute not an re-introduction of Feudalism. Nobles will have *no* direct control over people or land, and all non-nobles remain fully entitles to the rights of landowners, citizens, and voters...

Article VII

The FitzJames family will hereby be recognized as House Stuart of Harkonia, and its head (currently James FitzJames, Earl of Berricke) will be legitimately entitled His Grace, The Duke of Harkonia; He will serve the first term as Viceroy of Alduria, and remain eligible for future elections to that Royal Office.
