Bill: Strike Protection Act, 3522

Details

Submitted by[?]: Red Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3523

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

We wish to recognize the right of the people to strike conditions they deem worthy of the action. Under current legislation, an employer may fire workers that he/she thinks aren't striking against a reasonable cause. Bias can play a very large role in this decision and as such, we propose that any employer wishing to fire striking workers must present a case to a third-party government board which will approve or deny the employer's case. We hope this process will result in the reduction of unjustly terminated employees across the republic.
