This bill sets a cap of 500,000 RUT (half a million) on medical malpractice lawsuits b/c if Rutania CONTINUES to have "junk lawsuit lotteries," it will raise malpractice insurance rates on GOOD qualified Medical Doctors thus pricing them OUT of the market. In addition, if Doctors' malpractice insurance RISES b/c of numerous "2 Million RUT" lawsuits, then it will cause the PRICE of healthcare for EVERYBODY else to go up as well (for obvious reasons). |
