| Message | Mr Speaker, it should rather be the other way round - candidates sufficiently equipped with private contributions should not be able to claim tax-funded campaign financing. While public funds are based on coercive taxation and redistribution, private monetary grants to politicians are based on voluntary payment and should be left free from government interference.
