Message | Senators, We propose a modest increase in government spending with these proposals. The government does not see any value in the historic practice of running the Solentian budget in a surplus. As such we now propose a small budget deficit and will raise funds selling government bonds. The people of this great nation deserve investment in all our public services, and that is what we will deliver. Lois Granger Finance Minister |
