Bill: Ending Indoctrination of the Masses

Details

Submitted by[?]: Dranish Union of Metzists

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3577

Description[?]:

Religion is the Krokodil of the people and Dranland cannot afford to keep playing the supplier by allowing the reactionary clergy to keep oppressing the workers with lies about a non existent and certainly not omnipotent Being. Let us free the masses now and especially the little ones.

DUM General Secretary

MessageMr. Speaker,

These proposals represent the gravest denial of civil liberties. Every Dranish citizen deserves to be able to practice his or her religion in peace.

MessageMr Speaker,

How is it a civil liberty to have false indoctrination forced on you. Religion is mental rape and that means the Hon. Member is a collaborator by encouraging it.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Honourable Gentleman - if one can call him that - gross insults the millions of decent, religious-minded people of Dranland with his ignorant comments. He also insults rape victims, because comparing rape with giving youngsters a religious upbringing is as offensive as it is wrong.

But then again, Metzism has never been a particularly far-sighted ideology.
